This handcrafted bamboo coffee cart seems to have emerged from an ancient painting, with its mortise and tenon structure frame carrying the dialogue of life aesthetics between the East and the West. Dark brown bamboo strips, after being baked and bent by an old craftsman over fire, are woven into a fish-scale sunshade canopy. The hanging linen curtains and bamboo lanterns sway gently in the evening breeze, and the interplay of light and shadow illuminates the scale of the brass coffee machine. The countertop is inlaid with a rotatable bamboo turntable. The Italian manual lever on the left and the wood-fired earthenware pot on the right form a wonderful symbiosis. Inside the hanging wicker basket are handcrafted coarse earthenware cups – the glaze color of each one seems to have been dyed by the morning mist of the bamboo forest. At the rear of the vehicle, there is a hidden pull-out bamboo drawer. When unfolded, it transforms into a mini tea setting for four people. Inside the drawer, a green porcelain jar holds small coffee beans from Yunnan and wild tea from Wuyi Mountain.
