Description
This three-fold rattan screen reconstructs the Eastern Zen spirit with modern geometric language. The solid wood frame and natural rattan interweave to create a light and shadow theater where the real and the illusory coexist. The circular hollowed-out on the left side is like a full moon’s transparent view, the arched horizontal striped rattan weaving in the middle forms a rhythmic barrier, and the irregular curve on the right side breaks the routine. The matte metal hinge enables free opening and closing at multiple angles. The material is hand-woven from 5-year-old aged rattan cores, with 32 warp and weft threads interwoven per square centimeter. The texture that allows light to pass through but not shadows casts dappled tree shadows on the ground under the sunlight. The accompanying deep walnut wood base can be disassembled and replaced with a mobile pulley version, suitable for various space scenarios such as wabi-sabi style and Nordic minimalism. In the scene picture, it can be seen that it is perfectly matched with earthenware flower vases and dead branch art. The natural breathing feeling of the rattan neutralizes the coldness and hardness of modern furniture, presenting a dynamic decorative painting of “Rattan shadow Swaying by the window” in front of the light gray tone wall. The package contains a natural beeswax maintenance set. Regular care can keep the rattan from cracking for 20 years.
